david. this subject, as maybe you've gotten some idea, is hugely important in my life lately. i wish i could express myself on this subject as thoroughly and effectively as you do. Maybe if there were a pocket version of you that i could pull out when i needed to...

it's not that i think of you as an unerring being, or anything like that (i'm a PK; that whole notion of putting religious leaders, or the like, on pedestals has never been an issue with me!), but you're helping me a LOT right now, and i thank you. ...and kiss your hands and pour perfume on your fee-- no, wait. not that.

Nice interview. I don't think I would want to see you in a Coen bros film, though. They might kill you off too early.
